I will always treasure my memories with Edna, my Nana Sawston. In particular I will remember the times I spent painting her fence or cutting her garden bushes down whilst she directed me and supervised the work. I will also always appreciate how welcoming she was to my partner Emily when I first introduced her. I am honoured to have been asked to read a poem in her memory at the service to remember her life.

Edna was a lovely lady who always put a smile on everyone she met faces. I will miss her singing and dancing to her music in her back room.
